Interior Design Company Ranking Methodology
This category is currently ranked using a Bayesian-adjusted Google rating score — the same confidence-weighted approach used by large review platforms, which prevents a company with very few reviews from outranking an established company purely on a small-sample high average. Score = (v/(v+m)) × R + (m/(v+m)) × C, where R is the company’s Google rating, v is its review count, C is the category-wide mean rating, and m is a minimum-votes threshold (15). This is an interim, single-signal methodology — it does not yet incorporate product range, warranty terms, or other criteria; those require additional sourced research and will refine this ranking in a future edition.
